Step 1: Diagnosis
When you bring your laptop in for a battery replacement, our team will first complete an inspection and diagnose the issue.
This ensures that we working to repair the root cause of the issue that you’re experiencing.
During this time we will also identify and source an OEM battery. If an OEM laptop battery is not available, we will source a trusted third party battery that, meets the requirements of your laptop.
After we complete the inspection, we will call you with the results and discuss your options.
Step 2: Installation
After we have decided on a course of action with you, we will begin the process of installation.
Our team will uninstall and securely dispose of your laptop’s old battery.
Once we have the new battery in our store, we’ll complete the installation and prepare your laptop for testing.
Step 3: Testing
Once your new laptop battery has been installed, our team will run a series of tests to ensure that the battery is performing correctly.
We’ll prepare a battery report, to ensure that the battery is correctly registered by the laptop.
We’ll charge your battery to full capacity, to ensure that it can hold a sufficient charge.
We’ll perform a battery drain test in which we run a stress test on the computer and measure the drain on the battery. This ensures that the battery performs as expected.

Generally, no we cannot. Due to the risks associated with batteries, we only install batteries from trusted sources. This is normally OEM batteries, supplied by the laptop manufacturer.

The most common indicators that your laptop battery needs replacement are: the battery pack is swollen, the laptop cannot hold a charge, the laptop cannot charge to full power, computer notifications, random shutdowns, and excessive heat around the battery.

If we determine that the problem is not with your laptop battery, we’ll propose a new solution.
This new solution will be based upon our inspection of the device.
